Jack and Jill Pre-School Playgroup

Description

Jack & Jill Pre-school Playgroup is located in Ampthill, Bedfordshire. We are a well established, committee-run charity with an excellent reputation, which is reflected by our Ofsted inspections. We offer education and care for children over the age of two years six months and below school age in a safe, secure and stimulating environment. Our sessions are run on mornings and afternoons every weekday, and attended by a maximum of 26 children. All our sessions follow a specifically tailored curriculum set within the national guidelines leading to approved learning outcomes.

Our aims

• to enhance the development and education of children under statutory school age in a parent/carer involving, community-based group;
• to provide a safe, secure and stimulating environment; and
• to work within a framework which ensures equality of opportunity for all children and families.

What we offer   Our playgroup offers a main play room including home area, quiet room, kitchen area, outdoor play with a climbing frame, snacks and outings.    Nursery Education Grant funded places are available from the term after children reach their third birthday. For children who cannot claim funding the fee is currently £9.50 per 3 hour session.    Special needs can be catered for on an individual basis, as well as special dietary requirements.
